Whitney Boole - Writer & Therapist
I believe in the power of stories—both the ones we write and the ones we tell ourselves—to help us make sense of who we are, where we came from, and what comes next.
Writing
My adventures in writing began in film and television. It was a fun ride, and I had the opportunity to write for network television before life took me in another direction. I left the business, but I never let go of the writer in me.
I have written my way through every stage of life—including my divorce, which fueled my nonfiction book, You Got This: Healing Through Divorce. Some of my writing exists only for my eyes. Some of it I’ve shared with the world.
Writing is part of who I am, whether anybody sees it or not. And recently, I’ve felt the itch to expose it to the light again.
Therapy
I’m not a nodding-head therapist. I am ready to ask the difficult questions.
I believe in helping my clients find the tools they need and work through the obstacles holding them back. I go there with my clients so that they can move past the shackles that they may not even see are holding them back.
What story do you want to live— and how will you get there?
My journey as a therapist became the foundation of Beach Cities Psychotherapy.
